Canadian superstar Drake has taken New Zealand by storm.

The singer played Spark Arena last night, and it’s going to be hard for any artist to beat the million-dollar, ball and mic-dropping performance by Canada’s very own Drizzy Drake.

The night started and ended with a bang. When the hit song Passionfruit blasted through the arena, there wasn’t a single person who looked like they weren’t enjoying the show. It was an electric and intimate environment.

It must be hard for a productive artist such as Drake to choose which of his many hits to include in a two-hour show. But the hits kept on coming.

The stage production was noticeably improved since his last tour in 2015. Drake had fireworks, huge glowing orbs rolling in time with the music, and a globe for him to run around and stay close to the fans.

I walked away from the concert feeling buzzed.
